This month we have another four top quality game demos of the latest releases. Some programs may have different system requirements.
Fancy yourself as a bit of a Napoleon? This highly in depth wargaming strategy allows you to re-enact the battles and you can control each unit move by move and phase by phase. Requires Video for Windows
A little more relaxing? Take a stroll across the fairway with this armchair golf game. See if Microsoft can manage a hole in one.
The new game that has swept the Internet. Can you master the Stars? This is not a game that will blow you away in terms of graphics, but take the time to get involved and you might just be hooked.
The graphics in this demo alone are good enough reason to try it out. You play the part of a nimble woman who fights her way through wolves and bats trying to keep her out of the realms of the dead. The unique camera technique where it spins to get the best angle is astonishing.
This program will copy everything into a directory for you. You must then run Setup from that folder in order to run the Soundcard setup. Then you can run Tomb.exe to play the game. Some people may have problems running the game from Windows, in which case you should drop back down to DOS and run it from there. Also note that there does not seem to be a Quit button.
